Sevilla E/MS offers a variety of after school activities for all grades. The types of activities depend on the availability of sponsors for each activity. The activities are published each year shortly after school starts. Only students involved in an activity will be allowed to remain at school during the after school activities.
Odyssey of the Mind
This is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
Sports Club
Students attend this club that plays an assortment of games such as football, 4-square, and kickball to match the interests of the multi-age group members.
Student Council
The Sevilla EMS Student Council has elected representatives from the second through eighth grade classes and is responsible for organizing student events and community service project.
Reading Patch Program
The Reading Patch Program is sponsored by the Base Library and endorsed by the school. In order to receive a reading patch, a student must read five books in one of the five different categories.
